Kerry-Anne was called to the Bar of Trinidad and Tobago in April 2016.
She obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree with honors from the University of London in 2011 with a focus on Intellectual Property Law, Company Law and Family Law. She completed the Legal Practice Course (“LPC”) with a distinction at Staffordshire University in the United Kingdom in 2015.
Prior to being admitted to practice Kerry-Anne worked at the Intellectual Property Office, Ministry of the Attorney General and Legal Affairs (“TTIPO”). She holds Certificates in Advance Course on Copyright and Related Rights and General Course Intellectual Property from the World Intellectual Property Organization Academy in Geneva, Switzerland. Kerry-Anne served at the TTIPO as a Technical Trademark Operations Specialist and a Classification Technician before resigning to pursue and complete the LPC at Staffordshire University.
Since being admitted to the Bar, Kerry-Anne has practiced in the areas of land law, family law and probate. She is also a member of the Assembly of Southern Lawyers.
